Take the leap.//
In the midst of the chaos that was March 2020, my best friend told her sister-in-law about @theblackandbloom . She ordered a jar, loved it, took some beautiful photos, and shared it on her Instagram. That was the spark that started a wildfire. If you had asked me that day, I was not *quite* ready to really share my top-secret passion project (that I had been dreaming up for years now) with the world. I had more things I wanted to tweak, research, order, decide on… but sometimes you just need your best friend sneak up behind you and push you off the ledge of self-doubt + right into your power. //

I am still (and probably will forever be) tweaking the labels, obsessively researching my ingredients, + deciding on visuals for the website, but it is so humbling + massively inspiring what a lil nudge from the Universe can do. You all have been unbelievably supportive + I can honestly say this was the biggest gift during a particularly difficult time. I remember 3 weeks after the buzz started, I crushed a very lofty goal I had set for myself, + I felt the momentum building more + more every single day. I was both inspired + moved to tears. Y’all did that. //

I am so grateful for that push. I am so grateful that the strange time that was lockdown allowed me to re-focus on my passions for art + health + healing. I am so grateful I get to share my passions with the world. I am just so. darn. grateful. //
